Episode 71

Games we’re talking about this week

This week on Future Monkeys, Los, Beardy, and Jen talk Furi and Grand Theft Auto V: Online (some more).

The Primate Weekly

Weekly Update

Beardy is still baby-less after they find out that the kid has been performing amateur acrobatics and turned himself right side up again. Fortunately for us, because it means we get one more week of his dulcet tones – and an air fryer update to boot!

Jen gives the finale to her Pokemon hoodie tale, which had one last twist at the end she wasn’t completely expecting. She had a disappointing chocolate milk experience, and is busily figuring out how to organize her SNES game collection.

Los is crazy ecstatic because he’s finally gotten an upgrade to his internet – the Illusives are now happily rocking AT&T Fiber (and Jen is jealous, but don’t tell him she said that). He’s had to pull his son out of boy scouts, which is unfortunate…maybe? And he’s still promising to update the Future Monkeys blog…we’ll believe it when we see it.

Show Music Selection

Opening Music

  • Time is Up…NEXT! – Project Threeville

Closing Music

  • Strings Attached – Project Threeville

We wish that we could provide a link to these guys, but unfortunately they’ve disappeared into the mists of time without a trace. They’re some old friends of Beardy’s who gave him permission to use their awesome music.

Question(s) of the week

Question 1: What’s your gaming schedule like the next few months? Hunkering down with the Switch? Exploring Andromeda? Sacrificing a certain game for now so you can play another?

Question 2: If you had to choose one system to keep your retro game collection from, what would it be?
