The Primate Weekly

Weekly Update

Skari joins us this week and gives us an update on momhood, and all the goodness (and struggles) associated with it. She’s been playing some Final Fantasy XV when time permits, and has been “helping” (or spectating) Klaitu with his raspberry pi project, which seems to be a convenient way to play all the old games you could want with relative ease.

Jen regrets ever trying to talk about Headlander on the show…just go watch this trailer, it will make more sense than whatever the heck she said about it anyway. However, she does feel pretty confident about her assessment of Star Wars: Rogue One, and thinks you should all go see it. She also has an NES Mini, but DANG that controller cord is short.

Beardy has had an exciting week, with a sick kid and a gas leak outside his house, which was fixed at the low cost of only one arm. He’s managed to make it all the way to adulthood without beating Super Mario Bros., but he’s working on that (and Balloon Fight…lots of Balloon Fight) now that he has the NES Mini set up and ready to roll.

Show Music Selection

Opening Music

  • Time is Up…NEXT! – Project Threeville

Closing Music

  • Strings Attached – Project Threeville

We wish that we could provide a link to these guys, but unfortunately they’ve disappeared into the mists of time without a trace. They’re some old friends of Beardy’s who gave him permission to use their awesome music.
