Weekly Update

Dana and Los have created the hot new trend on twitter, #SurpriseButthole. Jen added in some #SurprisePenis as well. Have you seen an unintentional butthole in the wild? Hashtag it! (Please note, no real, actual buttholes. We’re a family show here.)

Los pretended he had a “date night” last week, unfortunately, as usual, Skari called him out on his immense amount of bullshit. A “family style” restaurant with like, 8 other people, does not a date night make. They did, however, make it to see the Secret Life of Pets, but from the sounds of his lackluster description and the fact that the kids got wiggly half way through, it’s probably a better rental than theater movie. Scandal, however, he can’t get enough of. Finally, though he wasn’t able to go see the new movie this weekend, he did take a trip down memory lane with Ghostbusters from the past on his blog.

Jen hasn’t been up to very much. The monkeys spent some time talking about Pizza, Anime, and Pokemon. There was a bit of drama during her grocery shopping when two men and a Prius got into an argument. Plus, she waved her cane at some kids in anger as they rode down the aisles of a store, playing gangsta rap music and using handicapped shopping carts as bumper cars. Pretty much a standard week in the life of Jen.

Skari has been obsessed with a few new shows. The first, Stranger Things, is a creepy new series on Netflix set in the 1980s that’s basically a love letter to Wes Craven, Steven Spielberg, and Stephen King. She also caught Two More Eggs on YouTube, a show by the brothers who made Homestar Runner. It’s a series of absurd little shorts that are running on the Disney channel currently. Things are ramping up towards baby time, the invitations are out for the shower and much needed items are starting to roll in. Los and Day graciously got her a Fisher-Price Newborn Auto Rock n’ Play Sleeper and Jen got her…nipple cream! Jen sure knows how to look out for the “ladies”. There were a couple of things that Jen bought that were meant to come, but it got mixed up with a different shipment, so that’s fun. Oh well, it will all be sorted out shortly, no doubt!

Please note: Skari did not endorse or approve of the including of any Pokemon related music.
